Player records
Every player's names, warnings, kicks, bans, flags and staff notes.
Player Records keeps one record for every player who has joined your server: the names they've used, how long they've played, and a timeline of every warning, mute, kick, ban and monitoring flag, plus private notes from your staff. It's how you check whether the new name in the server is the same person you banned last month.
Records start from the moment the mod is running. Nothing is filled in from before that.
What's on a record
- Who they are. Every name they've used, their GUID and Steam ID, when they were first and last seen, how many sessions and how long they've played in total.
- Kills, deaths and team kills. Counted from the killfeed, whether or not the killfeed is shown. This can be switched off.
- The timeline, newest first:
| Entry | Added when |
|---|---|
| Warned | Staff warn them, or a monitoring check warns them automatically |
| Muted / Unmuted | Staff mute or unmute them, or Conduct mutes them for chat flooding |
| Kicked | Staff kick them, in game or from the website, or a check kicks them |
| Banned | Staff ban them, or a check bans them |
| Flagged | Any Player Monitoring check flags them, with what it saw |
| Note | A staff member writes a note |
Each entry says when it happened (in UTC), who did it (a staff member's name, or "the server" for automatic ones) and the reason.
Routine staff actions like heals, teleports and god mode aren't on records. Those are in the admin log. A record is about how the player behaves.
Finding someone
Open the Player Records tab and search by any name they've ever used, their GUID or their Steam ID. It finds offline players too. Recent Players lists whoever was seen most recently. Each result shows when they were last seen and a count like 2 warns, 1 ban, so troublemakers stand out before you even open the record.
From Online Players, the Player Record button opens the selected player's record straight away.
On the record, the All / Moderation / Flags / Notes buttons filter the timeline.
Ban... on a record opens the Ban Manager with their GUID filled in. Unbans show on the timeline too.
Notes
Add Note opens a box to type in. The note goes on the timeline with your name on it. Only staff who can open player records can see notes. Players never do.
Deleting
Staff with Delete from player records can:
- Delete a single entry or note, for example a flag that turned out to be a false alarm.
- Delete Whole Record to wipe everything about that player. If they're online, they carry on with a fresh record.
Both need a second click to confirm, and both are written to the admin log.
How long records are kept
Records of players who haven't been seen for 365 days are deleted when the server starts. You can change the number on the tab (under Keeping records), or set it to 0 to keep records forever. The same card can switch off counting kills and deaths.

Where it's stored
One file per player in PlayerRecords/Players/, and PlayerRecords/index.json for searching. The keep-for setting is in PlayerRecords/settings.json. See Config files.
Records are player data on your own server. If a player asks you to delete what you hold on them, Delete Whole Record does it.
