Notifications

Sending events to Discord webhooks.

The Notifications tab sends things that happen on your server to Discord. It needs Change notifications (edit_notifications).

Webhooks

At the top is the default webhook. Paste a Discord webhook URL in and save. Every event you switch on posts there.

Any event can also have a webhook of its own. Pick the event in the list and paste a URL into its panel. If it has one, it posts there. If not, it falls back to the default. So one channel for everything, one per event, or any mix of the two all work.

The Test button sends a test message to wherever that event would post, so you can check a URL before relying on it.

Webhook URLs are secrets. Anyone who has one can post in your Discord as your server. They're stored on the server only and never sent back to anyone's game: the panel only ever shows a masked version, enough to tell two apart.

To get a URL in Discord: channel settings, Integrations, Webhooks, New Webhook, Copy Webhook URL.

Events

Pick an event and switch it on or off. On/off takes effect straight away with no save button.

Every event posts as a Discord embed: a coloured bar for the kind of event, a title, the details laid out as fields, your server's name in the footer and the time, shown in each reader's own time zone.

Event Posts when Shows

Server went empty The last player leaves

The monitoring flags only post if Send flags to Discord is also ticked on that check's own page in Player monitoring. Both have to agree. If one is ticked but the event is off or has nowhere to go, the monitoring page warns you.

Busy servers

Discord only lets a webhook post about 30 times a minute. With chat and the kill feed on, a full server can go past that, so posts are queued and sent in batches of up to 10 embeds every couple of seconds. Nothing is lost, it just arrives in groups. If you want chat in a channel of its own, give Game Chat its own webhook.

Posts never ping anyone. A player typing @everyone in game chat won't reach anyone's notifications.
