Operator

Things you switch on for yourself.

The Operator tab is about you. The left side shows who the server thinks you are: your Bohemia GUID, your Steam ID and whether your staff access is confirmed. There are copy buttons for both IDs, which is handy when you're filling in admins.json for someone else.

The right side is a list of things you can do to yourself. The toggles need the Self actions permission (self_actions), the rest say what they need below.

Toggles

Each toggle is a button with a coloured frame. Green means it's on, red means it's off, and the label says the same thing in words.

Toggle What it does
God Mode You take no damage at all: bullets, explosions, falls, vehicles, bleeding.
Invisible Other players stop seeing your character, your gear and your name tag.
No GM Status Hides the Game Master badge next to your name in the player list, and stops the "is now Game Master" message going out.
No Fatigue Your stamina never drains.
Remove Bush Slowdown Bushes and trees don't slow you down. Barbed wire still does.
Infinite Ammo Your magazine refills after every shot.
No Spray Every round goes exactly where you aim.
No Recoil Your weapon doesn't kick when you fire.

Toggles belong to you, not your character. They stay on through a respawn and switch off when you leave the server.

A few things worth knowing

  • No Spray and No Recoil are there for testing, like checking the monitoring checks or a weapon mod. They work the way a suppressor changes a weapon's handling, just all the way to zero. They follow you onto any gun you pick up and come off a gun as soon as you drop it, so nobody else ends up with a laser.

  • Invisible only hides what other players draw. AI can still see and shoot you, footsteps and gunshots can still be heard, and you still have a body that bullets hit. Use it together with god mode.

  • God mode uses the same switch as Game Master's "enable damage" setting. Vanilla spawn protection normally turns damage back on after spawning, but it leaves god mode alone.

  • Some server mods draw their own name tags or squad HUD. The mod hides vanilla name tags and COALITION Squad Interface name tags. A squad HUD may still show an invisible teammate.

Life

Action Permission What it does
Heal player_care A full heal, the same as Game Master's: health back, bleeding stopped.
Revive player_care Heals you and brings you round if you're unconscious.
Remove Stuck State player_care Moves you to the nearest clear open ground. In a vehicle, the whole vehicle moves somewhere it fits.
Kill player_punish Kills you, the same way Game Master does. It won't work while god mode is on, turn that off first.
Force Respawn player_punish Sends you back to the deploy screen. No death, no body, no kill feed, and your gear goes with the character.

Heal, Revive and Remove Stuck State need Heal, revive, unstick (player_care). Kill and Force Respawn need Kill, force respawn (player_punish), which moderators don't start with.

Movement

Action Permission What it does
Teleport teleport_map Closes the panel and opens your map. Click anywhere on it and you're moved there, onto clear ground near where you clicked. In a vehicle, the vehicle comes with you. Close the map instead to cancel.

Clicking the sea puts you on the water, not the seabed. Every teleport goes in the admin log with where you went, and Movement Watch doesn't flag it.

Inventory

All three need Change inventories (inventory).

  • Strip Weapons takes every gun, launcher and grenade you're carrying, with whatever's loaded or attached.
  • Strip Inventory takes everything except the clothes you're wearing. Your uniform, vest, backpack and helmet stay on, just empty.
  • Adjust Magazines asks how many (1 to 20) and gives you that many of each magazine your weapons take. A rifle with an underbarrel launcher gets both kinds, a launcher gets rockets. Anything that won't fit is skipped, and you're told how many.

Kill, Force Respawn and both strips need a second click within a few seconds, so a misclick can't wipe your loadout.

Vehicle

All of these act on the vehicle you're sitting in, and need Vehicle actions (vehicles).

Action What it does
Eject Vehicle Puts you out of the vehicle, even through a closed door.
Start Vehicle Starts the engine. Won't try if the tank's empty.
Stop Vehicle Stops the engine.
Refuel Vehicle Fills every tank to the top.
Repair Vehicle Fixes every damaged part, a flooded engine included. A burnt out wreck can't be repaired.
Refill Vehicle Ammo Tops up every weapon on it: guns, belts, rocket pods and flares.

The result of each shows in the status bar at the bottom of the panel.

Faction and rank

All four need Faction and rank (faction_rank).

  • Set Faction opens a list of the sides you can play in this scenario. Pick one and you switch, then go back to the deploy screen to spawn as that side.
  • Set Rank opens a list of the ranks your side has in this mission, so it always shows the right names, modded factions included. Your current rank is marked.
  • Promote and Demote move you one rank up or down.

In modes that give ranks from XP, like Conflict, your XP is set to match the new rank, so it sticks and carries on from there. Everywhere else the rank is put straight on your character and comes back after a respawn.

Admin

Give Game Master gives you Game Master, or takes it away again. Needs Give game master (give_gm).

The search box above the list filters by name and by section, so typing "vehicle" brings up the whole vehicle group.

Hotkeys

Every action on this tab can have its own key. They're ordinary game keybinds, so there are two places to set them:

  • Settings, then the Reforgedmin tab, from the main menu or the pause menu. Click Bind next to an action and press a key or a combination. Click Cancel or press Escape to stop waiting. Clear removes it.

  • Settings, then Keybinds, in the Reforgedmin category, alongside every other key in the game. This is also where clashes with other keys show up.

  • A hotkey does exactly what the button does, so it only works on servers running Reforgedmin Admin Tools, and only for what your permissions there allow. The server checks every time, the same as the button.

  • Kill, Force Respawn and the strips still want a second press within a few seconds.

  • Hotkeys do nothing while a menu, the map or chat is open, so typing never sets one off.

  • The answer shows as a short message on screen, since the panel isn't open.

Nothing is bound to start with. Pick keys the game doesn't already use, or both happen at once. Your hotkeys are saved with the rest of your game keybinds, so they follow you to every server.
